Introduction
The three papers
included in this volume were originally presented to the symposium "European
Research on Teacher Education" at the first European Conference on
Educational Research organized by the European Educational Research Association
in Bath, September 14-171995. The papers have now been revised. I like
to thank the authors for their willingness to revise their original papers.
I would also like to thank Dr. Martin Lawn, Westhill College, who acted
as discussant at the symposium. This publication has been made possible
through a grant from the Swedish National Agency for Education.
